I noted that one of the questions being discussed was the build up of user profiles on the NT workstations. We had this problem too. The way we dealt with the issue was as follows:
- We upgraded our clients to 4.11b and ZENworks.
- We also changed our NT configuration objects so that they dealt with existing accounts.
Once we had carried out these two changes the problems were reduced greatly and now the only time this issue comes up is when we have network problems or when users shut down or logout from the boxes incorrectly.
Another thing we have done to help with this problem is the creation of a NAL app which deletes profiles from the NT workstation which have an older date/time than the current day. But be careful not to delete Administrator, Guest and All User from the profiles directory.
