Current version: ZENworks 2

A little while ago in the Q&A section you had this:

Q: Scott L. wrote: I would like to be able to run a report as to what workstations DIDN'T get certain application objects installed. The current reporting tells you who has certain software installed but I want to know who didn't get it.

A: There is no report available to do that. It is a very exhaustive and costly search to try and discover that information. Sorry.

There is an easy way to do this. If Scott knows what files were to be installed, he can create an app object that only runs on the condition that the file(s) exist on the workstation. Set the reporting option to record icon filtering. Make the app force run, run once (the app does not have to do anything - install only, but no files). The log file will show where the app was installed (icon shown) and where it was not installed (icon hidden). I have used this to verify files on our workstations in a number of situations.
