Current version: ZENworks 2

I have found the command that Novell uses in NWAdmin to delete the workstation inventory information from the inventory database. It is as follows:

desktop.exe -w"WORKSTATION TYPLESS DISTINGUISHED NAME" -n"TREE NAME" -ip"IP ADDRESS OF INVENTORY SERVER" -c"Delete"

For example:
desktop.exe -w"WORKSTATION1.WORKSTATIONS.ADELAIDE.SA" -n"TREE" -ip"143.216.188.244" -c"Delete"

desktop.exe is in the SYS:PUBLIC\ZENWORKS directory.

This command is the command used by NWAdmin to delete the workstation's information from the inventory database.
