When selecting the network as the delivery mechanism for NALCACHE objects in disconnected mode, an unexpected behavior occurs with application objects that are executables only. Even when the icon is configured as disconnectable, the NALCACHE launch information does not deliver to the local version of the NALCACHE directory. And therefore, upon login in a disconnected state, the standalone application object disappears from the NAL window.
My suggestion to fix the problem is to select "Force Cache" in the associations tab.
I have tested this under several conditions, and the behavior of the delivery of the NALCACHE object is reproduceable.
Hope this helps. If you have any questions on this, let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org
