We ran into a problem installing ZfD 3.2 from a Windows 2000 Workstation. We would get the error message:
Checking for previous installations of ZENworks for Desktops
and then it would freeze.
SOLUTION
If you want to install ZfD 3.2 SP1 into a Novell eDirectory 8.7 tree from a Windows 2000 Workstation, you first need to delete the C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\NOVELL\JRE directory on the Windows 2000 workstation.
If you do not delete this directory, the installation will freeze.
