NAL Distributions of simple NAL applications (no snapshot and no files) sometimes fail to distribute (TID 10063458). This applies to applications that are installed on the workstation's local hard drive and on a server volume.
There are a few things you need to do to make the distribution via TED possible.
- Create a directory on the server for the application.
- Point the SOURCE_PATH variable to the directory you just created.
- Create a file in the directory (a simple text file will do).
- Make sure the file you created is copied to the workstation's temp directory (from %SOURCE_PATH% to %*TEMP%, but any other directory will do).
The application object can now be distributed via TED.
