ENGL ZmgWiz is a Windows utility that can scan one or more ZENworks image (.zmg) files and display detailed disk and file usage reports which can be optionally output to an XML file.

During the lifecycle of an image, files will be deleted or updated using the ZENworks Image Explorer. Unfortunately, ZENworks Image Explorer can only purge deleted files, it does not purge files that have been updated. When files are added to an image where the file already exists, ZENworks Image Explorer will append the entry to the end of the image. When images are restored all files that have been previously updated are sequentially restored which could effect performance.

ENGL ZmgWiz can help administrators understand what disk space is being used by files within their ZENworks images and alert them to the amount of space that could be saved by purging or recreating the images.

This is the first release of ZmgWiz and we welcome all feedback and comments so that we can improve the product for use by the ZENworks community. Enjoy!
