Removing NDS 7 using NWConfig

Here's how to remove NDS 7 to 7.5 using NWconfig, in case you forget the administrator password.

Just issue this command:

Nwconfig -dsremove

at the NetWare server console and get it removed from your server. It allows you to bypass the authentication procedure. It's really helpful stuff.

• That's a bit of a drastic solution to a forgotten ADMIN password problem!
• The idea is that you want to remove DS from a server and do not have the Admin password. This is not something that you would use if you are just trying to recover the Admin password for your tree.
