If you've ever wondered how the fields in ConsoleOne map to the attributes in eDirectory, here's a nifty tip.
The Question
Does anyone know where one can find eDirectory Attribute mappings to ConsoleOne?
For instance, where is it documented that the "Department" in ConsoleOne's General tab maps to the NDS Attribute "OU"?
The Answer
What I've done in the past is go through every field in ConsoleOne and type the title of each field in the field itself. Then I export the "user" and have a guide to all the mappings and how they match up with eDirectory.
