The default configuration for the system tray icon is that "Network Neighborhood" opens if you double-click on the icon, and that "Map Network Drive" opens if you double-click on the icon while holding down the Shift key.
Did you know that you can customize this icon on Windows 95/98 or Windows NT workstations after you install the Novell NetWare Client for Windows 95/98 or Windows NT?
Just "Right-click" on the red Novell N, and choose "Configure System Tray Icon". You can use the "Configure System Tray Icon" dialog box to assign actions different from the defaults. Actions you can assign include "Disconnect Network Drive", "My Computer", "NetWare Connections", "NetWare Login", "Network Neighborhood", "Novell Capture Printer Port", "Novell Client32 Properties", "Novell End Capture", "Novell Map Network Drive", and "Send Message".
