Problem: CDROM will not mount during NetWare 6 install.
During the installation of NetWare 6 you are able to boot from CD and begin installation. However, installation will fail because it is unable to mount the CDROM. This is characteristic even if install is run from overlay CD or older ideata drivers in an nwupdate directory.
Cause: Dell PowerEdge Server has 3 ide channels with the CDROM connected to the 3rd channel. NetWare 6 doesn't look past channel 2 and fails to mount the CDROM.
To resolve this issue, move the CDROM cable from the 3rd channel to the 2nd channel. In the BIOS turn the 3rd channel "OFF" and the 2nd channel "ON".
