Occasionally you will need to reinstall BorderManager, such as when you're upgrading to a newer server OS or if the NDS schema's BorderManager extensions have become corrupted. If you don't want the hassle of recreating all your access rules, just save them and copy them back after you've reinstalled. Here's how:
- In NWADMIN, double-click on the BorderManager server object.
- Click on the BorderManager Access Control Rules button.
- Select all your rules and cut or copy with the buttons above the rules.
- Paste them to a container above BorderManager. This will save the rules so you can copy them back after you have reinstalled BorderManager.
