Would you like to make your BorderManager server supply public addresses to the internet, but private addresses internally? Here's how to do it.

  1. Install BorderManager Proxy, including DNS Proxy, making sure you correctly configure proxy to only listen on the private interface.
  2. Enter your private host/address combinations into sys:\etc\hosts.
  3. Install DNS/DHCP onto the NBM server, and configure it to service your domain as needed, with the public addresses of your webservers/public hosts.
  4. Start NAMED after the proxy is up. It will listen on all addresses that are not occupied by the DNS proxy.
