The Problem

Is there a way, when installing the remote loader on UNIX, to install just the packages that are needed? From a cut and paste, these are the packages that get loaded when you do an install on UNIX.

%% Adding packages...
%% Adding package NDSxbase...
%% Adding package NDSrdxml...
%% Adding package NOVLjvml...
%% Adding package NDSremote...
%% Adding package NDSldap...
%% Adding package NDSdelim...
%% Adding package NDSjdbc...
%% Adding package NDSsap...
%% Adding package NDSwflow...

%% DirXML Remote Loader Packages Successfully Installed

Any way to just add one of these packages?

The Solution

On Solaris use the "pkgadd" command to install a particular package. Without any parameters it will install packages found in the /var/spool/pkg directory. Otherwise use the -d option to specify the path to the package.
