Many of you have already installed GroupWise 5.5 Support Pack 1 throughout your GroupWise system. Congratulations -- great move!

Some of you haven't installed it yet. We heartily recommend it. You can grab it from GroupWise Downloads.

Others of you may be part way through deployment of Support Pack 1 across a large GroupWise system. You've got everything planned out in advance and everything is going according to plan, right? Well, in case everything isn't going quite according to plan, here's how to tell whether or not you've gotten each component of Support Pack 1 installed.

Client

  1. In the GroupWise client, click Help > About GroupWise.
  2. Check the Program Release field. If it says 5.5.1 11/18/98, Support Pack 1 is installed.

Admin

  1. In NetWare Administrator, click Tool > GroupWise Utilities > About GroupWise Administrator.
  2. Check for Version 5.5.1 to show that Support Pack 1 is installed.
  3. For even more detailed information, click Version Info to display a list of all GroupWise Administrator DLLs, along with their locations and versions.

NLM Components (Agents, GWIA, WebAccess)

  1. In the operation screen of the component, click Help > About component.
  2. Check for Version 5.5.1 to show that Support Pack 1 is installed.
  3. Also check for these dates on GroupWise NLM programs:

    POA: 11/12/98
    MTA: 11/12/98
    GWIA: 11/09/98
    WebAccess: 11/09/98

NT Components (Agents, GWIA, WebAccess)

  1. At the NetWare server console, type modules gw* to list the GroupWise NLM programs.
  2. Check for these dates on GroupWise executables:

    POA: 11/12/98
    MTA: 11/12/98
    Agent Engine (GWENN2.NLM) 11/16/98
    GWIA: 11/09/98
    WebAccess: 11/09/98
