This tip comes from friendly, astute reader Chris B., who reminded us that GroupWise is better than we think it is, and can do more than we think it can.

To create a shortcut on the desktop for a particular folder, open the GroupWise window and drag the folder to the desktop. The icon will change to contain a + as you drag it, which implies you are copying the folder. What it actually does, however, is create a shortcut on the desktop to that folder. Double clicking the shortcut will open GroupWise with that folder open. I use this all the time as a fast way to get to my Calendar and Task Lists, but it seems to work with any folder as far as I can tell.
