We appreciate the generosity of spirit displayed in this submission. We wish we could respond to everything, but it just doesn't work that way. But we love it when you guys send followup mail like this.
A long time ago I posed a question asking why attachments were not being renamed by the API gateway. This was a particular problem when Internet e-mail was being forwarded through the API because all Internet e-mail has an attachment called header. The failure of the API to give this attachment a unique name was causing a problem at the "other" end.
Well you did not respond and I was disappointed. However I have solved the problem myself and just to show there are no hard feelings I will share the solution with you. It is really very simple. Apparently the API will rename any attachment if it finds a file of the same name in the ATT_OUT directory. So the answer is to create a file called header, put it in the ATT_OUT directory and leave it there.
