Problem: We were in the process of adding another domain that will eventually replace our current domain. Our current email was being address via aliases, as our usernames were not the same as our email usernames. Nicknames did not work, because outgoing messages were not addressed properly (were addressed with the username and not the email username). The main limitation was the ability to only have one alias per user.
Solution: We entered just the username for the alias without the domain. This addressed all messages properly and the domain was taken care of by Internet Addressing which included both of our domain names.
