Problem: Installing the GroupWise WebAccess servlets on Linux is complicated. It can be done but it requires lots of manual work and even then it runs under the Jakarta Tomcat ROOT application which interferes with Tomcat management.

Solution: To address these problems, move the WebAccess servlets to their own application and package all of the many steps required with an RPM.

Licensing restrictions and site specific files make it impossible to package a completely turn-key solution, but it's easy to customize the RPM source files for your site, build the RPM, and install it. Read all the details at http://www.hp.ufl.edu/~pbc/webaccess/.
