Problem: When you're deleting mail from Groupwise, many of you guys must find it a hassle to move your mail to the trash bin and then empty the trash bin. Even the more advanced users will agree that the delete and empty function can sometimes be a hassle.
Solution: Here's my rather simple solution to this problem:
Use the Keyboard.
Did you know...
- That you can use shift or ctrl to highlight multiple mail items?
- You can use shift+delete to automatically delete an item without having to use your mouse or first move it to trash bin.
I have found that these ways of deleting mail seem to work faster for us guys who are pretty much "old school" and prefer using a keyboard, rather than a mouse.
Hopefully this tip helps you as well.
