Problem: I don't know if anybody has ever tried this, but I searched Novell and could not find an answer.
I have a GroupWise folder that receives log files via email (close to 100 a day). I wanted to allow that folder to have a relatively small history of these files without getting too big. I didn't want to change my global autodelete settings to less than 30 days so I decided to try and create a rule. I was trying to create a rule to execute when I opened the folder that would delete all mail messages older than 7 days. No matter what I tried, I could not get the rule to read "Include entries where ... Created is less than 7 Days before Today". It kept reading "Include entries where ... Created is less than 7 Days after Today".
Solution: Once I sat back for a few minutes, I decided to put -7 in the days field and sure enough, the text changed to "before" and the rule works beautifully.
