Get Organized With the Checklist Folder
New for GroupWise 6.5 is the Checklist Folder, one of the most powerful organizational tools in GroupWise. Yet we at BrainStorm continue to encounter both new and longtime users that don't know about it or how to use it. Here is a quick introduction to the Checklist folder to help you better utilize GroupWise.
Where is the Checklist Folder?
The Checklist Folder is located in the Folder List in the main window in GroupWise and allows you to create a master task list. You can simply drag-and-drop any type of item (mail, reminder notes, tasks, phone messages, etc.) into the Checklist Folder. When you receive an item that requires any type of action, just drop it into the Checklist Folder.
How do I use the Checklist Folder?
Once items have been placed in your Checklist, you can prioritize them, set due dates, reply, and mark items complete. In addition, you also can utilize the standard GroupWise features of personalizing the subject and color-coding items with categories. Once an item is in the Checklist Folder, you can change all of the options by opening the item and selecting the Checklist tab.
Your Own Consolidated ?To-do? List
Your Checklist Folder becomes your efficient and concise personal ?to do? list. No more sifting through emails looking for an item to which you needed to respond or being reminded by others that you overlooked something.
