You can use these handy NLMs to extract a zip file directly on your server. HRZIP and HRUNZIP.NLMs are a couple of NLMs based on the InfoZip NLMs, but newer and improved. These NLMs support:

• Long file names
• Volume names (ie. extract to other volumes than SYS)
• Empty directories
• CPU utilization switch
• Abort-able with Ctrl-C

• Also missing is the -e (encrypt) switch .... a nice touch would be to allow password to be added at the command line vs interactively ... as in Rar.exe
• Cool. Even -0 (store only) works well [not corrupting the file]. For 4.x, you have to load clibaux.nlm (to export closedir_510).
• Where is simple readme ? Hrzip console help don´t help me much :o(
• Very useful. Does what it says, and is an improvement on most other ZIP NLMs for NetWare (yes, there are a few!)
• hrzip leaves display screen up w/o any option for autoclose -- which doesn't work for automated CRONTAB tasks (I've got a "zip 2.0j Sept 16th 1994" that uses -$ for screen destruct.) Plus option -$ (store volume label) abends server, it should grab the volume name or do a NOP.
• yea, cool stuff but can not create Zip-Files bigger than 2GB
