As of March 1st, 2002, MTASieve was replaced by GWAVA and published by a new company, Beginfinite.

GWAVA is an eSecurity and AntiVirus agent for GroupWise. GWAVA provides the most comprehensive suite of eSecurity tools available for GroupWise 5.5 and 6.0. GWAVA can protect your GroupWise system from viruses, prevent spam, block file attachments, and filter e-mail content.

What makes GWAVA unique, is that it can protect GroupWise® from both external and internal threats. Since GWAVA was designed specifically for GroupWise, it can provide more comprehensive protection by establishing a security perimeter at the center of your GroupWise system rather then just at its edge.

GWAVA integrates with Novell's NDS eDirectory (including ConsoleOne), GroupWise, NetWare; and several 3rd part Anti-Virus NLMs (i.e. McAfee, Norton) to help you easily incorporate your GroupWise system into a secure messaging environment.
