Details

Disk Space Usage will allow you to determine where your disk space is being used and by whom. You can check by Owner, Volume, Directory, File Size, or Date.

You can see who is using your space on a particular volume. How much space is being used on a particular volume or all volumes. You can determine which directories are using the space. You can locate files based on a pattern or size. You can locate files based on creation date, last access date, or modify date.

You can save your results to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file for import to a spreadsheet or database for further analysis.

What's new in Version 2.4

• Bug Fix: Batch file with "File Size" option did not work properly.
• Added full path to DiskSpaceUsage program in batch file.

• It gets your "Starting Container" information from your Novell Client properties information. However, I have two trees. So, I can only use Disk Space Usage 1.7 on my Preferred tree. Also, when I cannot select any tree, there is no way to continue the application, nor any way to exit it gracefully.

• Just tried this and found it many times faster than getting the same information from NWAdmin or ConsoleOne. One tip, if after you install you cannot get the program to give you a server list, select Tools>Select Server List Starting Container and set it for the desired O or OU. After that little challenge, it was easy sailing from there. Really like that the program - output imports easily into Excel so it can be sorted and printed.
