    What the spreadsheet shows:

    Because a company using DirXML only needs to create (or delete) a user once in their information systems, savings are immediately realized by not having to administer user records in each system with every change in the organization chart. DirXML takes care of creating, deleting, and modifying users, their rights, and ID information, in all of the company's data management systems.

    So instead of having multiple administrators creating the same ID on each system, you can have one administrator that creates the user and lets DirXML synchronize the information with all the other configured systems and applications. Because of this, the employee can have access to the system the day he/she starts. Modifications to his/her ID are synchronized to all other systems and applications at once, and when the employee leaves the company his/her ID will be deleted in every system and application, providing higher security.

    The savings from a good E/De-provisioning program (with DirXML) come in three forms:

    1. Reduced administration costs due to the automation realized by implementing DirXML.
    2. Increased productivity because new employees have immediate access to their tool sets.
    3. Decreased costs due to minimized theft or use of company resources by employees who are no longer with the company (but still have access).

    This spreadsheet calculates what it costs a company when new employees can't work due to administrative tasks not being carried out by an administrator.
