While looking for a way to completely lock up a Windows 2000 desktop, Ad Stuij found a tool to convert exported registry keys to an ADM template file. He thought this tool may save administrators a lot of time that would be spent trying to find out how to program an ADM template.
Soon after we posted an article about the tool, we heard from Rob Vonk, the tool's creator. Because of feedback, he made a quick fix on the 1.0 version, posted here, so it now supports Windows 2000.

- This does not work
- This works great! (the 1.1 version) Allows you to create a policy template for just about any application.
- Not good enought for use. Requires some more work, easier to make these settings by hand when doing complex policies. Hangs when a big .adm file is opened (takes about 1gig of memory, the crashes with "not enought memory" error)
