Details
ZedMon is a NetWare server monitoring tool that provides network administrators with at-a-glance information on user activity, network address, login time and protocol preference, as well as server utilization and open file information. The application is installed on a management workstation - nothing needs to be installed on the server. By default, the application will list all connections on a given server, and display the following:
- Connection number
- Status
- Protocol
- Network Address
- Login Name
- Login Time
- Total Requests
- Total Kb Read
- Total Kb Written
- Requests per Second
- Kb Read per Second
- Kb Written per Second
Any connection can be selected to show current open files. Server utilization is displayed in graph form. User login, address and login time can be audited, and connection information exported to CSV or printed. Files can be browsed to see who has them locked.
Save any required audit logs and uninstall any previous versions of ZedMon before installing a new version.

- thank for making that free! makes my job so nice!
- This is a really good application. Perfect for NW sysadmins.
- Is there any way to disconnect users? This is a great tool.
- Most importantly this doesn't need anything installed on the servers. This is an excellent tool that should be distributed with Netware, and is much more than just a "cool utility". I cannot find a dedicated website though - is there one?
- very good tool
- Thanks for this tool - it really helps. Can I add Connection Deletion to the wishlist?
- Great Tool. Thanks.
- "Must have" for all LAN administrators
- Someone should have done this years ago, it's a real time saver
- A fantastic utility with a heap of extremely useful features. Can't wait for the next version which will apparently support long filenames !
- this is excelent. I only found it recently but wish I had it years ago. I do'nt know how it works without a server agent. It didnt need any configuration and just worked starght away. Is this a Novell product? Its free but does not seem to be open soure(?)
- Wunderbar
- This is a really useful utility for those of us who manage Netware servers. The ability to check open files by user is something I use on a daily basis. Matthew Raymond.
- For the last 3 months I have been trying to figure out what was causing one of our servers to run at 30% util all the time. About 10 seconds after installing this I tracked down a workstation with a bad queue mapping!!!!
- Excellent for identifying protocols in use on the network. I discovered three workstations that were still connecting on IPX, when I thought we had fully migrated to IP.
- Thanks!
- the best thing is the IP address list!
- Extremely useful tool -- one I will use frequently
- Been looking for something like this for ages - excellent tool!
- Very Cool!
- thank you
- It would be nice if it could establish connections that don't already exist and I wish the locked file text would display the long filenames.
- Ver3.24: Any reason the maximize button stopped working? Or that the window doesn't retain its size at exit any more?
