This program lets you import users into your NDS tree from a CSV file. This Version has some support for using User Templates.

It can Read the Home Directory, Volume Space Restrictions, Home Directory Rights, Groups and some other bits from a template.

Also the source code is on NovellForge (the website link will take you to the project page).

• An excellent utitlity for those of us in the education world, where we have to import hundereds of new users each year.
• not as full functionality like good old uimport. like space restrictions !
• WONDERFUL!!! Additionally, you CAN modify space restrictions, and add group membership basede on templates. saved me MANY hours of importing 600+ users/home dir's
• Lite and powerfull tool! You can create users with LDAP tools, but you can't set passwords. I use this tool to create users sceleton (with passwords set) and later accomplish users creation with LDAP.
• I can *almost* use it. It would work GREAT for me, if I could specify group memberships. If that field were added, I would use it to create student accounts.
• I have never use uimport but this works well, especially since I have the ability to use an "user template" to set some variables. simple to use makes hours of work into seconds or minutes.
• Space Restricton doesnt work on NSS Volume ! good job anyway
• Very good tool but it doesn't work with 4.91 client (4.8x OK)
