My original Desktop Portals was simply a HTML file that I provided for downloading. This file had to be manually edited to configure it for the admins network.

With this version, I've written a GUI that will generate the HTML file for you automatically, based on the data that you enter. I've also fixed a bug in the HTML code that was causing NetWare 6.5 servers to abend when the RConsole image was clicked.

When you run the program, you choose the directory to create the file in, specify a server name and IP address and click Create Desktop Portal. The program even allows you to pick the background, text, and link hover color for the file. After the file has been generated, set it as an Active Desktop item and you can monitor all of your NetWare servers from your desktop!

• Nope, this doesn't install. From Rich: The installation has been fixed. It wasn't affecting everyone, but I found the problem and uploaded a new install.
