• Good grief, this was hard to find. Novell needs to leave this release on their main downloads page. Not everyone wants to rush head-first into a buggy new release right awya.
• A search on Novell's site could not find c483sp2e.exe. Fortunately, Google found it.
• Difficult to find on your website. Searching in the download area was fruitless.
• I was also seaching - happy that i was successfull. Now i can cancel 4.9 !!!!
• I agree, hard to find. Why is Novells site so hard to navigate? Anyways make sure to apply the e update as there are a lot of fixes they missed with sp2. I think it's called 483psp2e.

• Here it is Jan. 2004 and I am glad that I found this. The 49sp1a would not connect to my server. I spent 25 minutes trying to find a 4.83 client. As someone else mentioned google saved the day.
• Why would you need to get the E patch. It's included in this download, correct? Hence the name: c483sp2e.exe!!!??

• Great, with newest version 4.9 of NW client on download.novell.com, this one was nowhere to find.
• C483SP2E.exe is "E" as in "English". The post-4.83 SP2 updates such as 483psp2e.exe are still appropriate to apply here.
• With 4.9x, when a client connection count exceeded a certain number our workstation manager stopped working! this doesn't happen with 4.83. Don't make this page go away.
