I've received so many requests for enhancements to this tool, that I've decided to open-source it on Novell Forge. The current source code and updated Readme are posted @ http://forge.novell.com/modules/xfmod/project/?zregscan.

- "Minimal error checking" scares me. I would like to see the source to know exactly what this means.
- Minimal error checking means that the data scanned for in the registry is not validated. If a key or value does not exist, it is simply set equal to N/A in the custom.ini file.
- If the tool can scan the whole key instead of individual sub-values, it will be perfect.
