- Most useful indeed. The BorderRecorder stays loaded on the server, does it have some kind of automatic cycle? It would be nice to know some details beyond the installation docs. When does it do the monthly collection or when does it process if it stays loaded on the server?
- Looks nice but how is it configured? There is no mention of configuring a database within the mysql server, so either the user account needs DB create rights (i've tried root but still no luck) or a specifically named db needs to be created first but there is no mention of this. Reply: The app creates the db automatically. You do need an account with permission to create. I am happy to help via email. James
- I can't get the borderrecorder component to work, it can't find my log files. Otherwise it seems very useful! Reply: Border Recorder has been reworked and updated. You may email me for assistance configuring Border Reporter. Thanks, James
- Great tool! I am thrilled to be able to search by user or url. This will save me a lot of time. Thank you!
- Very Powerful Tool. Way COOL!
- This update resolves a cross platform issue in regards to case sensitive handling of the db & tables so it works properly between any mix of NW, Win or *NIX now. Also better error handling with more meaningful error messages. Well done James.
- Wonderful Tool. Setup was easy. I used to use grep tools to search for data in BM logs. This is a great app!
- Awesome tool! Any chance I can get the option to select different databases to read from or import/append to?
- Not enough help available to get this running.
- This is an excellent tool, however, there are two annoying bugs. The properites file gets corrupted everytime the server is restarted and the field sizes are reporting being too small. This maybe becuase MYSQL 5 is being used. You can manually fix this using MYSQL Administrator.
