Details
This is a short code that will compare the current machine's hostname to that of the default after being imaged. The script itself is written in bash, and therefore can function on any machine that supports this terminal. The Application is specific to OS X, and written in AppleScript. To install, add the test.sh script to your current loginHook. You may need to edit the file to change the default hostname (currently V-25-Image.local) to your name, and place the application in /Applications/Utilities. This can be changed in the script.
