Details

This utility will allow you to monitor and manage NDPS printers. It will keep a note of all discovered printers as well as a list of all printers that you want to keep an eye on. You can set an update interval for both scanning for alerts and displaying the print queue of a selected printer.

Fixed problem "Directory Services API error: 34948" some people were experiencing the first time they ran the program.

• Maybe a good tool if it only would work :-((( Even after installing and manually registering the OCX-packages mentioned in the doc the programm did not start - neither on WXPpro SP2 nor on W2KSP4. Tried all what the other guys recommended here - no success! Very sad thing....
• Thoroughly impressed, initial interface could do with some work, but it works, and helped me clear up some dead ndps printers
• Looks good, if only it would work. I tried running it on 3 pc's and crashes every time at launch. All are XP os's.
• did not work on my Windows 2000 workstation. It errored as soon as I tried to run the program.
• Windows XP unable to launch.
• Doesn't work for me, it crashed on Winxp, Win2000, and win98
• Tried to install and got: "Unknown Software exception (0x0eedfade) at 0x77e9bbf3" Perhaps installation procedure should be checked before publishing?
• Installed all activeX controls in the instructions. Cannot get it to run on either Win2k or WinXP.

• Crashes on exit with latest core/ndap activex components on windows xp sp1 with 4.9sp1 client. Spelling of alerts in upper right of the gui is wrong; Alterts. Text NDPS Manager not fully visible, er falls of the screen. Please try a little harder.

• Crashes on run. The instructions on installing the ActiveX suff doesn't work, since the files downloaded from Novell don't contain the file to register the class.
• I can't get it to install on XP either.
• Not Bad but to few features. I am missing to move print jobs and managing printer configuration like gateway, shutdown /restart and so on. Installation works like this: Activ X (Core), Active X NDAP, Run Regocx.bat in the folder of novell/ndk/activex_ndap. Start printermanager.exe. Give treename and use it on your own. /19.07.05
• Pretty looking tool but doesnt allow you to actually clear docs add and remove users etc which wuld be useful
• Confirming: you NEED to install all required ACTIVEX, and then register it all by hand with the relevant batch as in documentation. Anyway it crashes exiting...
