Details

1. Copy the shell script in your Solaris machine
2. Edit the script & provide the below mentioned information :-
   # Path for the log file (Path & Name of the log file where it will log the statistics)
   # Process Name (Process for which you want to collect the statistics)
   # interval in seconds (Interval between the consecutive 2 Polls)
3. run this command
   sh sol-toptool.sh
     or
   sh sol-toptool.sh & (to run it in the background)
4. Ignore the top messages comes on the screen.
