This tool allows an administrator to calculate the time of each LDAP search in a dstrace or iMonitor log file. It's very useful in tracking down LDAP performance problems, especially slow searches.

Usage: elapse.pl -t 2 -n 5 -f trace4.htm

-t only display searches that take this many seconds or longer (defaults to 0)
-n only show this many lines of the search operations (defaults to 1)
-f name of the log file from dstrace or iMonitor

It's been tested on SuSE9 and Windows 2000 with ActiveState's Perl.
