NDS2Shell <Full eDirectory Name> [DEBUG]

This tool, to detect if you have the rights to set your folder redirection to the new place. If so, it will change the registry key for you and creates any missing directory.

  • Create an object in your eDirectory, let say, nds2shell.organisation.
  • Edit the login script properties of this object.
  • In this login script you can create the reg keys needed for Windows 2000/XP.
  • Hint: (you can just export the regkey

    rentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders]
    with regedit to an file and edit this file with notepad).

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders]
    "AppData"="H:\Application Data"
    "My Pictures"="H:\My Documents\My Pictures"
    "Start Menu"="H:\Start Menu"
    "Programs"="H:\Start Menu\Programs"
    "Startup"="H:\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
    "Local Settings"="H:\Local Settings"
    "Local AppData"="H:\Local Settings\Application Data"
    "Cache"="C:\TEMP\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files"
    "History"="H:\Local Settings\History"
    "Administrative Tools"="H:\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools"

    Only the lines starting with " will be processed.

    If de DEBUG options is used, the regkeys will be created in:

    rentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\Test]
