If you find that after installing the ZfD4 Agent you suddenly have a DLU problem (Windows asks for authentication), this one's for you.
This is probably caused because the following hive in the registry is overwritten by an application object:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment]
In this registry entry there was originally an entry to the path of C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks, but because snapshot overwrites the original value, the ZfD agent has problems finding its path (because it disappeared by being overwritten).
Solution: put the following line in your application object at the end of the registry entry in the application object:
%*PROGRAM FILES%\Novell\ZENworks\
You can also check this by right-clicking My Computer > Properties > Advanced > environment variables and system variables. Check the path and check if the following path is included:
;C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks
Make sure that the ; is included to separate the path.
I hope this solves your problem.
