PROBLEM: Snapshotting Ahead Nero Burning ROM, users have no rights to burn, Nero Burnrights doesn't work. You don't want to give users local Admin rights or run the app as Unsecure System user.
SOLUTION: use the ZENworks Group Policy option User Package, mark Security Settings on and edit the User environment settings of the Windows group policy.
The following options must be changed: (translated from a dutch Win2K version)
1: Computer configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policy -> Security Options:
Allowed to format and eject removable media (or NTFS media)
Change the default setting from Administrator to "Administrators and Interactive Users"
2: Restrict CD-ROM access to locally logged-on user only
change this setting to "ENABLED"
Now the user can burn a CD/DVD on a workstation without needing additional rights.
