In an earlier article, I wrote about how to insert additional package installation sources into YAST. This article also applies to SUSE Linux Professional 9.3, if you adapt the directory names to this platform. Some of the ones I listed have 9.2 as one of the directories. In many cases, you can simply switch that out for 9.3. However, the opensuse.org folks have provided a nice list for us, so that we don't have to guess. It has quite a number of excellent installation sources.

So, what I would suggest is to take a look at this list. Next, based on the version of SUSE Linux that you are using, determine the best install sources for your platform. Then, follow my article above and put your install sources into YAST on your machine. Your system will then have access to many of the very latest packages available for your platform.

Take me to the list of installation sources.

Take me to the article that shows me how to use these installation sources.
