I've created many NAL objects in our NDS tree to distribute applications or to make adjustments to our 230 workstations. Many of these NAL objects need to be run only once per workstation and not per user. Since we've been unlucky with import of workstations, I've devised an easy way for NAL to find out if an application is already installed on a specific workstation AND if it's needed to redistribute on demand.

I let the application create a text file locally in the C:\Novell directory while setting the non-existence of the same file as a condition for the NAL-app-object to force run. You can thus see which applications are installed, when they were installed, AND by deleting the file let NAL distribute it again.
