Update: It seems the original file was corrupt, so Mike sent us an updated one, which you can download below. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I was recently placed in a situation where I had to update imaging software for a client who had purchased HP Compaq desktops with Broadcom NICs. I searched high and low for a suitable driver and thought it was my lucky day when I found the driver on the ZENworks Cool Solutions site. To my dismay, when I loaded the driver it came up with an error. I went through your web site, downloaded whatever articles I could find, and proceeded to compile a kernel so that I could build a driver for my client. I now have a working driver for the 2.4.18 kernel and was wondering if you would be interested in placing it on your web site.

  • I have tested this driver with ZEN 3.2 and ZEN 4.0.
  • The Driver has been compiled for Kernel version 2.4.18
  • The driver can be inserted into the linux.2 file as well as the second imaging floppy disk or CDROM iso image.
I won't go into details on how to do this as it has been documented numerous time on the Cool Solution Site.
