When administering a NetWare server, you need to keep an eye on several counters. Primarily, the number of Packet Receive Buffers and Directory Cache Buffers.

If you have several large and small servers, you may have difficulties remembering whether a number like 1000 is minimum or maximum for a certain counter.

Here's a solution: set the minimum to a not-so-round number. For instance, I set Minimum Directory Cache Buffers to 501 on a certain server. If I look at the server and see that the counter shows a nice even number, I know that I'll have to look closer.
