Improving Login Performance Over Citrix

My company has several subsidiary locations around the country who all access Citrix Metaframe servers located here at our central office. The problem is that when our users login to our Novell network, they are faced with one of two possiblities. Either they 1) enter their own context, which is just a nightmare for our helpdesk to think about, or 2) we enable contextless login in the registry, which can take a long time to run over the WAN.
Here is a simple solution that greatly increases login performance. We create an alias for each user (of Citrix) in a new OU that is just below our O. Then we edit the client properties on the servers to not save changes after a successful login, default to the alias context, and run a specified (and very scaled down) login script. It does require a bit of upkeep, but is well worth it.
