This past week I have been onsite implementing a GroupWise and iPrint Cluster utilizing the ISCSI technology. This is a quick tip that should save you some major time! You will find out the hard way that the initator usually fails to connect upon bootup. Once you bring up the Target Server make sure you delay the initator and the cluster services in the autoexec.ncf.
Example
#ISCSI Initiator connecting to the Target Server ION DELAYCMD 5 "ISCSINIT CONNECT 10.24.1.30"
Now, once the initiators connect to the shared storage on your Target Server we can load the cluster services:
#Cluster Services - start DELAY CMD 10 "LDNCS.NCF"
This will save you a big headache and lots of time! Thanks!
