Current Version: GroupWise 5.5

A little while ago we posted this item:

Here's another draconian security request. We're looking for a way to make a GroupWise e-mail self-destruct, as per this recent query:

"I would like to e-mail someone else in GroupWise. After they read the message I want to lock the e-mail so they cannot forward it to anyone else or print it. After they close it, it would immediately delete. I have had it happen to me, now how do I do it?"

We think it's Mission Impossible, but what do we know? If you have any ideas, let us know.

It turns out it really is Mission Impossible, at least if you're trying to do it entirely with GroupWise native functionality. However, we got tips about some other products that you might want to look at if you have this kind of extreme stealth requirement.

Here's what we got so far. If you find any more viable options, let us know.

Check out the following for secure e-mail and the "self-destruct" feature of messages:

This would be SO COOL if these features could be integrated into GroupWise. Keep us updated!

Don't know if GW will do this, but check out SafeMessage from www.AbsoluteFuture.com. This will do what he wants, plus more.
