Migration Manager 2.1 Supports GroupWise 6 Caching

Migration Manager 2.1 enhancements.

Cataloguing in GroupWise 6 Caching Mode. This can be optionally turned on at the client.

Catalogue and Restore Archive viewing support for GroupWise 5.5 and 6 Remote mode.

Archive Directory List showing the archives that have been catalogued and the time period that cataloguing was performed on each archive.

Minor bug fixes.

Migration Manager works to reduce the online storage required for GroupWise messages. It does this by creating a small footprint catalogue of each message moved to archive and automatically purges the archive at set intervals. The catalogue listing is viewable from GroupWise and shows the important message information, the dates the message was online in the archive, and the archives that have been catalogued.

Even though the original message may be on tape or CD, you can find and restore it more easily by having the dates and file path of the archives in which it existed.
