Cloud Manager supports the standard navigation methods (tapping, flicking, swiping, scrolling, typing, and so forth) provided by your iPhone or iPod touch.

You should also be aware of the following navigation tips:

Do this...

Delete an item

Swipe the item row, either direction, to display the Delete button.

Add an item

Tap the + button located at the top right of the screen.

Go back one screen

Tap the back button located at the top left of the screen.

Go back to a main screen

Tap a main screen icon (Home, Messages, Tasks, Services, or The Cloud).

Refresh a screen

Tap the refresh button at the top right of the screen.

You can view the current status for your business services and see the number of unread messages you have. If you are a business group sponsor, you can also see the number of approval tasks in your queue.

  1. Tap Home.

  2. For more details about business services, messages, or tasks, click the arrow on the corresponding line.

  1. Tap Home.

  2. Tap Logout.

  1. Make sure you are a member of the business group for which you want to create the business service.

  2. Tap Services > New Request.

  3. Follow the prompts to create the business service and add workloads.

  4. Tap Submit.

    or

    Tap Back to submit the request later.

You can edit business service requests that are still in the Defining state.

  1. Tap Services > Defining.

  2. Tap the business service you want to edit.

  3. Tap Edit.

  1. Tap Services > Defining.

  2. In the list, swipe the request you want to delete, either left-to-right or right-to-left.

  3. Tap Delete.

If you have saved a business service request in the Defining list, you can submit it at any time:

  1. Tap Services > Defining.

  2. Tap the business service request you want to submit.

  3. Tap Submit.

    The request is moved from the Defining list to the Submitted list.

You can withdraw a request until it reaches a certain phase in the Building process. After that, the only way to cancel the business service is to delete the deployed business service.

  1. Tap Services > Submitted.

  2. Tap the business service request you want to withdraw.

  3. Tap Withdraw.

You can delete a request until it reaches a certain phase in the Building process. After that, you must wait until to delete the business service after it is deployed.

  1. Tap Services > Submitted.

  2. In the list, swipe the request you want to delete, either left-to-right or right-to-left.

  3. Tap Delete.

You can change non-imported business service. Imported business services cannot be changed.

  1. Tap Services > Deployed.

  2. Tap the business service you want to change.

  3. Tap Change.

  4. Go to the Defining list > tap the change request.

  5. Make your changes.

  6. Tap Submit.

You can delegate full control of a business service to other users, or you can delegate view-only rights.

  1. Tap Services > Deployed.

  2. Tap the business service you want to delegate.

  3. Tap the arrow on the Delegates line.

  1. Tap Services > Deployed.

  2. In the list, swipe the business service you want to delete, either left-to-right or right-to-left.

  3. Tap Delete.

  1. Tap Services > Deployed.

  2. Tap the business service whose workload you want to start or stop.

  3. Tap the arrow on the Workloads line.

  4. Tap the workload.

  5. Tap the start, stop, or pause buttons.

You can view both sent and received messages. You cannot send or reply to messages.

  1. Tap Messages.

  2. Tap a message list.

  3. Tap a message to display it.

The message list refreshes whenever you open the Messages screen. If you want to refresh the list while the screen is open, you must tap the Refresh button.

Tasks apply only to business group sponsors. If you are not a sponsor, the Tasks icon is not displayed.

  1. Tap Tasks.

  2. Tap Unclaimed Tasks.

  3. Tap the task you want to claim.

  4. Tap Claim.

    The task is moved to your My Tasks list.

An approval task requires you to approve or deny a business service request. You can review all workload information as part of the approval process.

  1. Tap Tasks.

  2. Tap Unclaimed Tasks (or My Tasks if you previously claimed the task).

  3. Tap the task.

  4. To review or modify workloads, tap the arrow on the Workloads line.

  5. Tap Approve.

    or

    Tap Deny, select a reason, then tap OK.

A configuration task pauses the provisioning workflow to give you an opportunity to configure workloads before or after the build process. After you complete any required configuration, you must mark the task complete to continue the workflow.

  1. Tap Tasks.

  2. Tap Unclaimed Tasks (or My Tasks if you previously claimed the task).

  3. Tap the task.

  4. Tap Complete.

The task list refreshes whenever you open the Tasks screen. If you want to refresh the list while the screen is open, you must tap the Refresh button.
