1. Integrated Schema Wizard and Dataflow Wizard

When you create a dataflow in the Modeler, the Dataflow wizard usually launches to help make sure that the schema and schema mapping configuration are appropriate. This wizard has been enhanced to directly integrate with the new Schema Creation Wizard. As a result, you can easily create new classes and attributes from within the Dataflow Wizard to better ensure that your schema is complete.




2. New and Improved Architect Modeler Icons

The following new Design Element is now in the Architect Modeler's palette:

     Database


The following Design Element icons have a new look:

     Firewall
     Mainframe
     Server

3. New Applications and Drivers

The following new applications are now in the Architect Modeler's palette:

     Scripting

The following drivers now connect to specified applications:

Scripting Driver
This driver now connects to the Scripting application.
The scripting driver allows the execution of arbitrary commands on the
machine where the driver is running.
Business-Logic
(Resource Kit)
This driver now connects to the Loopback application.
The Business-Logic driver belongs to the set of driver configurations that
come with the Resource Kit for Novell Identity Manager. It exemplifies ACL
handling and Org-Chart management in the context of the Resource Kit.
CSV User Import/Export
(Resource Kit)
This driver now connects to the Delimited Text application.
The Delimited Text CSV driver belongs to the set of driver configurations
that come with the Resource Kit for Novell Identity Manager. It is configured
to import and export CSV files in a certain format that matches the Resource
Kit data structure.
User Image Import/Export
(Resource Kit)
This driver now connects to the Delimited Text application.
The Delimited Text Image driver belongs to the set of driver configurations
that come with the Resource Kit for Novell Identity Manager. It imports and
exports the photo attribute of User objects in the Resource Kit. The necessary
Delimited Text Driver Extensions come bundled with the Resource Kit.
GroupWise
(Resource Kit)
This driver now connects to the GroupWise application.
The GroupWise (Resource Kit) driver belongs to the set of driver configurations
that come with the Resource Kit for Novell Identity Manager.
Lotus Notes
(Resource Kit)
This driver now connects to the Lotus Notes application.
The Lotus Notes (Resource Kit) driver belongs to the set of driver configurations
that come with the Resource Kit for Novell Identity Manager.

4. Updated Identity Assurance Icons

The following application icons have a new look:

ActivIdentity CMS
Enrollment - Honeywell SmartPlus
PACS - Honeywell SmartPlus

The following driver icons have a new look:

Card Management System Driver: IAS ActivIdentity CMS
Enrollment/Biometric Capture Driver: Enrollment - Honeywell SmartPlus
Physical Access Control Driver: PACs - Honeywell SmartPlus



Other Enhancements and Bug Fixes
  1. The Modeler synchronizes much better with the Outline view. Click here for details.
  2. You can now select an existing server when adding a driver set. Click here for details.
  3. Dataflow for a class now works the same as for an attribute. Click here for details.
  4. The newly added class and attribute no longer disappear when you add a driver. Click here for details.
  5. Pinning vaults now refreshes the screen. Click here for details.
  6. Unnecessary scroll bars no longer appear when you add an Identity Vault to a group. Click here for details.
  7. The driver line is no longer deleted when you connect to a resource. Click here for details.
